I was so excited to see there had been some activity on your blog this morning, so I raced over! Love your blocks, you always make the best fabric choices. What is Marilyn's block? I love the pattern.*hugs*Taz:-)
Welcome to the blogging world - I wandered over your way because Tazzie told me to - and what do I find but the most fabulous Dear Jane!! I am working on one as well - it is my 10 year project. I have about 50 blocks completed. And I also am doing the Barbara Brackman Civil war blocks!! Your's are lovely :))
Hi Linda! Just popping over from Tazzie's blog.... welcome to blogland! I hope you enjoy it as much as I do!I am also doing the Civil War Blocks... just working on the first one. Like Tazzie, I've been receiving the fabric club from Somerset Patchwork and I have oodles of 19th Century repro fabric. It's only 10" squares but will be plenty for this project. I'll post my first block soon. I'm not too happy with my light/medium/dark choices, but the block is almost finished and that will have to do! I'm sure to improve on fabric choices the more blocks I make:-)
Hi from Spain, I'm sewing Dear Jane and the civil war quilt with fabrics from Marcus Brothers, I started quilting 6 years ago and 5 years ago I started my blog and to know people from different countries sharing the same interests. Keep in touch
Beautiful blocks! I'm toying with doing Barbara's Civil War Blocks myself!
